BOTSWANA’S
OKAVANGO DELTA
The Okavango Delta is one of the world’s largest natural inland fresh water delta systems. On an annual basis flood water from the Okavango River enters a massive natural depression in northern Botswana and works its way slowly southwards. Most of this water then dries up again, thus creating a cycle of events that allows a rich ecosystem to thrive and support an incredible diversity and volume of wildlife, that migrate in and out of the area at different times. Okavango Delta Safaris are home to a number of small camps that are able to provide an intimate and personalised experience for avid safari seekers. We have chosen the best of these for you.
